The uniform I like best would have to be the silver ferns because the design really stands out on there tops and they represent New Zealand in Netball. The silver fern is a powerful and emotional symbol of inspiration and one that all Kiwis can relate to.

  1. Kia orana Tristan,

It is great to see how busy you have been on so far on the Summer Learning Journey. Have you showed your whanau some of the activities you have been doing?

You’re right that the silver fern is such a powerful and emotional symbol of inspiration for all Kiwis, here in New Zealand and while they are overseas. I remember listening to interviews of New Zealand Olympians at the Rio Olympics, they were saying how proud they were, wearing the silver fern and representing their country in their sporting area. Do you play any sports?

Just a friendly reminder that every time we use an image that we haven’t created on our blog. It's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful. You can check it out here:

You will need to follow these instructions to earn full points for any Summer Learning Journey activity that has asked you to post an image :)

    Keep up your amazing effort!

    Blog ya later,
